IATA calls on the Chinese air cargo industry to prioritize the deployment of the ONE Record standard to accelerate the digital upgrade of the supply chain. The standard was established as the cornerstone of global air cargo digitalization in July this year and will come into effect on January 1, 2026. Based on API, ONE Record can realize seamless connection of upstream and downstream data in the supply chain, eliminate information islands, and improve compliance and transparency. IATA has put forward three initiatives to promote airlines, freight forwarders, government regulators and technology developers to jointly promote the deployment of ONE Record and comprehensively improve the digitalization level of business processes.
